Sri Lanka is the second host of the 2011 edition of the World Cup, and were the runner-up in the previous edition of the tournament. They had won the tournament in 1996, and were the semi-finalists in 2003.
Sri Lanka’s batting has been a key to their successes, but the best part of the side is their spinners. It is not only the likes of Muthiah Muralitharan and Ajantha Mendis, but also Suraj Randiv and Rangana Herath who will make it difficult for the opposition.
