BANGLADESH SQUAD ANNOUNCED: MASHRAFE OUT, ASHRAFUL IN



Injured former skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortuza lost his place in the World Cup squad while another ex-captain Mohammad Ashraful confirmed his berth.
A 15-member Bangladesh squad has been announced on Wednesday for the World Cup Cricket Tournament 2011, scheduled to be commence on February 19.

Chief of the selectors’ panel Rafiqul Alam declared the squad at a crowded press conference at the Bangladesh Cricket Board office in the capital.
The squad: Shakib Al Hasan(captain), Tamim Iqbal (vice-captain), Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), Md Ashraful, Imrul Kayes, Shahriar Nafees, Juaneed Siddiqui, Roquibul Hasan, Mahmudullah Riyad, Naeem Islam, Abdur Razzak, Suhrawardi Shuvo, Shafiul Islam, Nazmul Hossain and Rubel Hossain.
