The squad announce includes Shane Watson, Brad Haddin (wk), Ricky Ponting (capt), Michael Clarke, Michael Hussey, David Hussey, Cameron White, Tim Paine (wk), Steven Smith, John Hastings, Mitchell Johnson, Nathan Hauritz, Brett Lee, Shaun Tait and Doug Bollinger.

Andrew Hilditch, the chairman of selectors said that the team announce is the best to defend the world cup. He also said that Ponting and Hussey will recover from Injury before the world cup. He added that there is a lot of time for them to recover from injuries and they will be available in world cup matches.

Ponting and Hussey will not be available in the remaining six matches against England. Remaining 13 men will be in available in the six matches against England. Tait and Lee also returned from Injury and Lee also bowled well in first ODI. Australia will play its first match against Zimbabwe on 21st February. Australia has hat-tick of winning world cup. They will defend their title in 2011 world cup.
